Reaction to Genocide/Rwanda
Today in class we discussed different views on genocide and how people react to them. We also learned about Rwanda and how much of an impact it had. Learning about the horrible situations and the crazy things the people did was interesting to learn about. I feel as these people are crazy and have no right to do such things. The reactions from the different people who went there where so emotional. I feel as though these people will be reminded of this throughout their entire life. There is no way they can forget something so horrible and heartbreaking. Rwanda killed so many people in such little time, its crazy to think how they did it. How is it possible to kill so many people and not feel an inch of hurt inside. This whole thing is just horrible and completely out of control.

Thanks so much for your response, Lucia. I was worried that I was showing and telling you too much, that it was too much to learn about, or that everyone was so quiet because it wasn't as important to you as it is to me. I am consistently amazed by human rights issues in the world, but I need to keep in mind how all of you react to it too. You know?
